Amidst the ongoing political turmoil, the Bengal BJP leadership organized a two-day protest beneath the Dharmatala Gandhi statue, advocating for justice in the Sandeshkhali incident. Originally planned as a three-day demonstration from the 27th to the 29th, the protest was initially denied permission by the police. However, with the intervention of the Bengal BJP High Court, permission was granted for the protest to proceed on the 28th and 29th, spanning from 10 am to 6 pm each day.
Despite the restrictions imposed, including a limit on the gathering of more than 150 workers and the prohibition of microphones and loudspeakers, several prominent leaders such as Dilip Ghosh, Tamgan Ghosh, and Jatinmoy Singh Mahato were seen actively participating on the protest stage. The slogan "We want justice for Sandeshkhali" echoed through the demonstration, highlighting the party's demand for accountability and resolution in the Sandeshkhali incident.
